Our Biodiversity team support communities and mana whenua to maintain and enhance biodiversity for the future of all Northlanders. You can find the team doing all sorts of mahi (work), from monitoring lakes, restoring coastal dunes, surveying forests and wetlands and partnering with communities and other agencies to nurture Te Taitokerau’s unique biodiversity.
