Recycling and rubbish

Recycling and rubbish collection services are provided by your district council.  We operate an Agrichemical collection and disposal service.

Far North District Council

Kerbside recycling is available to residents on refuse collection routes in Kaeo, Waipapa, Kerikeri, Haruru Falls, Paihia, Opua, Kawakawa and Moerewa.

Kaipara District Council

The Kaipara District Council provide two refuse disposal sites - a transfer station in Awakino Road, Dargaville and a sanitary landfill at Hakaru. Weekly refuse bag collections are made in all urban centres and some rural areas as selected by the contractor.

The Kaipara District Council also offer a fortnightly kerbside recycling bag collection in Dargaville and Mangawhai, plus along the route in between.

Whangārei District Council

Kerbside recycling and rubbish collection is provided for residents in the Whangārei District.  Information on charges and location of transfer stations can be found on the Whangārei District Council website.
