Financial prudence will be essential over the next three years. I have worked alongside you and many community groups to understand local concerns and support shared goals.

In 2025, environmental issues remail urgent, none more so than the fast tracked Bream Bay sand mining proposal. I stand with the community in its ongoing efforts to oppose further sand mining and protect our fragile coastline.

Environmental protection is often thankless and challenging, especially when funding is limited and legislation creates barriers. If elected, I will continue to navigate those roadblocks to deliver better environmental outcomes for all Northlanders.

Extreme weather events have hit our region hard. I will continue to work closely with the Northland Civil Defence Emergency Management team to ensure our communities are better prepared for future events.

Together we can protect what matters: our environment, our economy, our people and our future.
