It is my privilege to be your current NRC Councillor. I live at Pataua South with my family and am motivated and hardworking. I have the skills to listen, understand issues, and influence decisions. I am a qualified freshwater ecologist with experience in freshwater protection, climate, biosecurity and education. I'm a strong environmental voice at council and build good relationships to achieve outcomes. My goal is for future generations to inherit a healthy natural environment. This looks like clean rivers, harbours and beaches for swimming and harvesting food, with our oceans, wetlands, forests and native wildlife protected. Our natural environment supports our regional economy. As your councillor, I will continue to work with integrity, representing our community voice and applying my skills to get the best for Northland. I believe in a future where Northland's economy and environment can thrive together. A vote for Amy is a vote for experience.
