I have been a resident & landowner in the Parua Bay area for 37 years. 4 of my 5 children attended Parua Bay primary school.

My career has focussed on marketing, agriculture & has involved off-shore island restoration resulting in global recognition.

My qualifications relevant to the Regional Council roles are: Diploma in Farm Management - Massey University : Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management - Auckland University majoring in economics management. My offering to council will be one of common sense - something I detect a lack of in Local Government. I believe any rate increase above the general inflation rate needs careful scrutiny. Governance of relevant policies & their development should be the business of Regional Councillors. Implementation should be the business of staff.
