Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd (MMH) is a designated Port Company that is publicly listed on the New Zealand Stock exchange. MMH has a 50% stakeholding in the deep-water port facility at Marsden Point and has significant land holdings in the adjacent area which are being progressively developed for industrial use. The company also owns the Marsden Cove Marina and adjacent retail complex, together with a recently established vessel haulout and hardstand facility.
Northland Regional Council is the majority shareholder and is seeking applications from persons interested in being nominated as a Director of Marsden Maritime Holdings Ltd.
Nominees will need to offer a depth of governance experience and demonstrate leadership in, and awareness of the public and private sectors. They will be politically and strategically astute and be recognised for developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and the community. Previous experience as a Director of a publicly listed company will be an advantage.
