Lifeguards on duty - beaches, dates and times

Northland Regional Council is proud to support Surf Lifesaving Northern Region, helping to keep paid lifeguards on our beaches this summer.

Swim safer, choose a patrolled beach and swim between the flags. Lifeguards will be on duty at these beaches:

Paripari Reserve, Ahipara (Far North)

Ahipara Beach.

 

Weekends & public holidays: 11:00am-5:00pm | 11 December 2021 - 6 February 2022

Weekdays: 10:30am-6:30pm | 20 December - 14 January 2022

Baylys Beach, Ripiro

Baylys Beach.

 

7-days a week: 10:30am-6:30pm | 18 December 2021 - 9 January 2022

After this date the beach will be patrolled every Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday from 15 January 2022 - 6 February 2022, 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, and 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday.


Ocean Beach, Whangārei Heads

Ocean Beach.
