Cruise ship & harbour events calendar
Planning to hold an event on the water?
Is your event a swimming race, waka ama race, raft race, or similar? You only need to notify the Harbourmaster’s Office and provide a safety plan. We can provide safety advice or help with your safety plan for free, but we need at least six weeks' notice of your event.
If your event conflicts with another one, we can assist with safety advice if necessary.
We will assess your registration and let you know if you need to complete other documents, eg. to apply for a reserved area or speed uplift. If you need to do this, we will send you the appropriate application form.
