Environmental Monitoring Officer - Coastal (full time)

We have a vacancy for an Environmental Monitoring Officer - Coastal. This position will be based in our Whangārei Office. The purpose of the position is to undertake compliance monitoring of resource consents, the investigation of environmental incidents and related enforcement, and undertake state of the environment monitoring.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills are essential. The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and preferably also have experience in a role of relevance. They must display personal and professional integrity, and be committed to undertaking quality work, occasionally under time pressures. They shall be available to work outside of normal office hours.
Ideally, we are seeking someone who has experience in Quality Management Systems/Process Management Software (Promapp), or technical knowledge of continuous water quality monitoring equipment.
