Long Term Plan 2018-2028
Planning for a thriving Northland
Over the coming 10 months we're developing our Long Term Plan 2018-2028, which will set out our direction and ambitions for the next decade, and how we'll pay for it.
Through this plan, we work out how to prioritise our work across a wide range of activities to make sure we deliver on a number of long-term outcomes for the region. The tricky part is getting the balance right. That's where you come in.

Early feedback period now closed
From mid-August to early September we asked people to tell us what their priorities are for Northland's environment, economy and communities for the next ten years.
A sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to have a chat with us, do our survey and tell us what's important to them.
The feedback has been collated for council to consider as part of its detailed discussions about the Long Term Plan. Read the feedback report (PDF, 170KB)
You'll have another chance to have your say in early 2018, when our draft Long Term Plan goes out for formal consultation.
