Vacancy | Environmental Educator
Rotokare Sanctuary, a community-led conservation project in Taranaki, seeks an innovative and passionate person for the role of environmental educator. This permanent position is for up to 40 hours per week (with some potential to negotiate - but no less than 30 hours per week). It may be possible for this role to be shared, therefore if you have the skills and passion, but cannot commit to full-time hours, your application would still be considered.
If you have an interest in ecology, have teaching experience, and want to be part of a bright conservation future we want to hear from you.
You will join our dynamic, goal orientated team, to deliver an established and comprehensive programme teaching from ECE to senior high school level. You will also help deliver the Trust's public engagement programmes including presentations, manage the web-site and social media, and development of various publications.
Ecological knowledge and skills desirable, computer literacy including data entry, editing and formatting, and social media management essential, a teaching qualification or equivalent experience essential.
