Free native plants for you

Cabbage trees are part of the Native Plant Fund. Every year, we provide financial support to the Alter-Natives Wholesale Nursery Native Plant Fund. Around 7,500 native plants are given away for free.
You can apply for a lot of 100 native plants. You must be a resident or community group from the Whangarei or Kaipara Districts. You can be a private land owner, school or other education provider, a club or youth group, community trust or a Landcare group responsible for the care of community, QEII or Department of Conservation land.
2009 fund now open
Entries open 1 March 2009 and close Wednesday 15 April 2009.
