Please note some of the dates shown in the timeline above have changed.  This is because of the high number of submissions we received on the RPS Discussion Document, the time that was required to establish the Regional Policy and Development Committee, the time it has taken to develop a robust section 32 evaluation template and subsequent analysis of the draft issues and objectives.  In addition, there are a number of National Policy Statements that are either operative or likely to become operative in the near future that the new RPS will need to “give effect” to.
