Help us tell your story.  The regional council is committed to developing a new Regional Policy Statement for Northland by working with stakeholders and the community to inspire fresh thinking about options to manage our resources and development activities.

During the process to develop a new RPS, the council has so far formally sought public feedback on the Discussion Document (October 2010) and the Draft New RPS (October 2011).    

Please take the opportunity to continue your involvement in this process. It’s important for Northland and its people that we have a wide range of feedback on the draft new RPS, the outcome of which will influence what we put in the proposed new RPS (the beginning of the formal legal process, in about June 2012).
