'Our Northland' video

In a joint effort with Enviroschools and ReGeneration we commissioned a short clip to raise awareness on providing feedback and get youth involved. Created as part of the Northland Youth Jam in Waitangi, June 2011.

Regional Report - Issue 21

The Regional Report is the council's regional newsletter and is distributed widely throughout Northland. Issue 21 (October 2011) provided an overview of the Draft New RPS and information on how to provide feedback.

Current RPS (March 1999)

The current Regional Policy Statement has been operative since March 1999. The additional Outstanding Natural Features and Outstanding Landscapes Section became operative in July 2002.

10 Year efficiency and effectiveness review

The 10 Year Efficiency and Effectiveness Review (December 2009) provides an extensive review of the RPS that sets the platform for the development of Northland's new RPS.

5 Year efficiency and effectiveness review

The 5 Year Efficiency and Effectiveness Review (December 2006) consisted of workshops with NRC staff, workshops with the District Councils, input from Tangata Whenua and Stakeholder workshops.
