From 1 July 2008, Whangarei has a new bus service.

CityLink Whangarei began operating on Tuesday 1 July 2008, replacing Whangarei Bus Services. There are lots of exciting changes, including brand new buses, a new look, more services during peak hours and extended operating hours.
