Enterprise Northland on the move
Enterprise Northland, the Regional Development Agency for Northland, is now operating out of the Northland Regional Council’s Whāngārei building thanks to a generous offer of accommodation from the Regional Council.
Destination Northland is still operating from its premises in Paihia.
With the objective of saving overhead cost, Enterprise Northland took this opportunity with the expiry of the lease on its offices in Bank St, Whāngārei.
“The move – which involves five staff - also enables the economic development activities of Enterprise Northland to be aligned with the developing economic growth strategy being promulgated by NRC” explains Andy Britton, Chairperson of the Northland Regional Council Community Trust (NRCCT) which controls both Enterprise Northland and Destination Northland.
“To further this development the two operating business units of Enterprise Northland and Destination Northland will benefit from the support of the Chief Executive Officer of the Northland Regional Council, Ken Paterson, for day to day executive assistance whilst we seek to minimise cost, build the Trust fund back up and deliver the prioritised strategic objectives adopted for this year”
Now that the restructuring has been completed, Andy has stood down as Acting CEO and resumed the NRCCT Chairperson’s role.
Phone and mail contact details for Enterprise Northland remain unchanged.
