Youth Summit
We hold an annual youth summit on the environment.
The free, day-long event brings together year seven and eight (form one and two) students nominated by Northland schools.
It is built around a coastal theme and how young people can take an active role in Northland’s sustainable management.
It continues to be a huge success and has proved to be one of the most popular events in the Council's environmental education calendar.
The Venue
The Youth Summit is held at the Onerahi Yacht Club in Whangarei.
