Hearing - Proposed Regional Policy Statement (Whāngārei)

Hearings on the Proposed Regional Policy Statement (RPS) for Northland are for those who have made submissions and/or further submissions to the Proposed RPS. The hearings will be overseen by a panel of independent commissioners.
Opening morning
Monday, 20 May -10am
A presentation to the independent commissioners. This is when council staff essentially set the scene for the hearings panel about the Proposed RPS, key points raised in submissions and what staff are recommending.
Attendance at opening morning is welcome.
Hearing schedule
Tuesday 21 - Wednesday 22 May
Hearings will commence at 9am and conclude at 5pm each day.

Council Meeting - May (KAIKOHE RSA)

The May meeting of the Northland Regional Council will be held at the Kaikohe RSA, 158 Broadway, Kaikohe on Tuesday, 21 May 2013.
Monthly meeting of the Northland Regional Council to be held in the Far North. Council meetings held in the Far North are normally held at the Far North District Council's office so please note a change of venue for this month's meeting. The community is welcome to attend.
The public are cordially invited to join councillors for coffee and an informal chat at 12.30pm prior to the start of the council meeting at 1.00pm
