eCycle electronic waste recycling
eCycle is a new recycling initiative that has been set up nationally to recycle electronic equipment.
In Northland, CBEC EcoSolutions has set up an e-Cycle drop-off station at its Bank St site in Whangarei for all electronic goods. From there, the items will be freighted to an Auckland recycling centre.
What does it cost?
There is a small charge for the service because it costs to recycle.

- LCD screens, stereos, DVD or video players - $6
- Computers - $4
- Photocopiers - $69
- Cellphones - FREE
